The Arc of York County is assisting with the implementation of ECRIN (Evacuating County Residents In Need). With ECRIN, the municipal departments that might be called near a home (fire, police, emergency responders) will have the same information about people with special needs in the area. The goal is to assist those residents who are unable to evacuate or need assistance to remain sheltered in their residence because of physical or other disabilities. This includes mental retardation and autism. If you, or someone you know, would like to sign up for ECRIN, please contact The Arc of York County at 717-846-6589. Please be aware, the ECRIN program is for special needs residents only.
The Arc of York County is now offering cleaning services for businesses and churches. For more information, or for a quote, please contact The Arc of York County at (717) 846-6589.
The Arc of York County's new project, "Building Inclusive Recreational Opportunities," will focus on creating more opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in already existing activities or programs in York County.
