The Arc of York County's Annual Appeal

In early February of each year, The Arc of York County conducts its Annual Appeal. When you receive your letter from The Arc of York County in the mail, please remember to send in a donation with your pledge envelope. Your donation for the Annual Appeal helps The Arc of York County continue to provide programs and services to individuals with mental retardation and their families in York County.

The Sertoma Club's Art Auction

Each March, the Sertoma Club of York hosts their annual Art Auction at Wisehaven Banquet & Expo Center in York. The event will, once again, benefit The Arc of York County.

The evening's festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres.

We will have a variety of art works from some of your favorite artists, including wall hangings, Civil War art, sports celebrity art, pottery, and sculptured pieces. There will also be a number of special auction items, door prizes, and some interesting surprise raffle items.

The Arc of York County's Bike & Hike

The Arc of York County's Bike & Hike community event is a team event consisting of teams of between 5 and 10 people. Teams raise money and then come to the event in early May to walk, ride or run around the path at John Rudy County Park . At the event, there will be many fun activities as well as great food and fantastic prizes to win!

It's a great team-building event and is the perfect activity for businesses, families, church groups or any other group of people who want to have fun while supporting a great cause.

The York 10-Miler

The York 10-Miler is a ten mile road race on the Heritage Rail Trail that starts in Seven Valleys and ends in York (Princess Street). This is one of the largest races of its kind inYork County. Organized by a member of the York Roadrunners Club, this race benefits The Arc of York County.

The Arc of York County's Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting is a public gathering for the membership of The Arc of York County, the board of Directors of both The Arc of York County and The Arc Foundation, leaders in the mental health/mental retardation field and members of the community. A banquet and program are planned for the event. The Annual Meeting is held each year in early November.
