Outreach and Assistance to access Work Incentives

The Arc of York County in cooperation with the Department of Public Welfare is providing outreach and assistance to access work incentives offered through Social Security. These incentives can make it easier to return to work or to become employed for the first time.

• MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR WORKERS WITH DISABILITIES -The MAWD Program allows workers with disabilities to earn more money while continuing their medical coverage.
• PLAN FOR ACHIEVING SELF SUPPORT - A PASS allows you to set aside income in order to pursue a work goal.
• TICKET TO WORK - The Ticket to Work Program provides increased opportunities for assistive services to help you become employed.
